Sustainability is a tradition, not a trend. Our islands are a place in an ever-accelerating world where green forests turn you green with envy, where the food is slow, the flavors are authentic, and the locals are mellow. All of this will be experienced on this tour. And of course, two islands means three different sea trips to enjoy!
What to Expect
Both Hiiumaa and Saaremaa belong to the UNESCO biosphere program area MAB (Man and the Biosphere). Due to the island’s inhabitants knowing how to live in harmony with the environment, the nature is well-preserved. On this tour you will find out why sustainability is a tradition and not a trend for us. We will present the smaller and bigger steps we have taken to reach our dream – to be green islands.
You will meet our sparkly people who will show you the everyday poetry of island life and guide you in ways to submit to the rhythm of the islands. Locals are the destination. Together let´s make the authentic local flavors shine!
